The North won the Senior Bowl yesterday 23-13.  Even though the South was stacked the North came out and just played better.  The North won the game in the trenches and it showed on the scoreboard.  Here are the 5 guys who I think looked the best from the game.

Day two is in the books.  The pads came on and the play intensified.  Some big changes from yesterday in the way play went down.  I love seeing how much these guys care.  That love for the game goes a long way at these events.  It makes things much more competitive.

I loved some of […]

Senior Bowl Week Players to Watch

It is Senior Bowl Week in Mobile Alabama.  The rosters are pretty good this year.  It is a decent class of Seniors even though this is not a really strong draft.  It will be a fun week watching film and seeing these guys practice.

The position to watch will be the trenches of both teams.  The offensive lines have more […]

The East West Shrine Game is this weekend.  The Shrine Game is the same thing as the Senior Bowl just with the lesser known players.  Guys that will go anywhere from the 3rd to 7th round on most occasions.  If a player plays well enough they can earn a spot on the Senior Bowl squad.  […]

Brock Osweiler Can’t Get Tood Graham’s Attention Either

Tino Sunseri should not feel as bad about how Todd Graham treated him at Pitt.  Graham treats possible first round picks that way as well.  Graham is already running talent out of Arizona State because he is just as big a jerk there as he was at Pitt.  Arizona State Quarterback Brock Osweiler who […]

Potential First Round Pick Manti Te’o Staying in School

Notre Dame Inside Linebacker Manti Te’o has decided to stay in school for his senior season.  Te’o leads the Irish in almost every category that a linebacker should at Notre Dame.  He has 115 tackles, 13 TFL, and 4.5 sacks.  Teo is regarded as a first round talent and could have gone as high […]

JoePa to Retire, Urban Meyer Next for Penn State?

With all of the scandal that is going on around Penn State right now Head Coach Joe Paterno has decided to retire at seasons end.  I am not going to put my two sense in, everyone has done enough of that already.  I know we do not do Penn State often here but I […]

PITT Officially Joins the ACC

The Pittsburgh Panthers and Syracuse have officially joined the ACC.  They make the 13th and 14th school to join the division.  This is a step up in the football world but it may be a lateral step in the basketball world.  The ACC wants to create a 16 team league.  The 2 other schools they […]

The Pittsburgh Panthers have applied to join the ACC.  The team wants to leave the Big East and head to a conference that is more respected around the nation.  No one shows the Big East any love and the move could be good for the Panthers in football.

This just shows you how important football […]

2012 NFL Draft Prospects: Defensive Back

The Defensive Back class is being touted as one of the better groups in the draft.  The DBs always get a little more love than they should early in the year.  Then by seasons end the class dwindles and everyone goes why was that guy ranked so high at the beginning of the year?  The […]
